Chiropractic pain management is a drug-free way to reduce pain by correcting the mechanical problem underneath it. At Limitless Chiropractic in Ballantyne, we use 3D imaging and thermography to find which joint, disc, or nerve is driving your pain, then use gentle, specific adjustments and spinal decompression to take the pressure off.
Pain is a signal, not the problem itself. A vertebra that sits out of position loads the disc unevenly, irritates the nerve beside it, and makes the muscles around it tighten to protect the area. Medication can quiet that signal for a while. Correcting the alignment changes what is sending it.
We are chiropractors, not pain management physicians. We do not prescribe medication or give injections, and we tell you plainly when something needs a medical doctor. For the large share of back, neck, and nerve pain that is mechanical, chiropractic care is often the right first step, and it does not require a referral.

How chiropractic pain management works
Every plan starts with measurement. Your first visit includes a consultation, an exam, and CBCT 3D imaging and thermography, so we know which level of the spine is involved and how far it has moved before we recommend anything.
From there, care usually combines precise chiropractic adjustments to restore alignment, upper cervical care when the top of the neck is involved, and spinal decompression when a disc needs room. We re-test as you go, so you can see what is changing, not just feel it.
Chronic pain versus a recent injury
A recent injury usually settles faster, because the body has not had time to compensate around it. Chronic pain, the kind that has cycled for months or years, takes longer, and we say that upfront. The goal is fewer flares, smaller flares, and a body that holds its alignment between visits.
Part of managing chronic pain is learning what sets it off. We show you the positions, habits, and movements that aggravate your specific problem so you are not undoing the work between appointments.
When we refer you to a medical doctor
Some pain is not mechanical. Fever with back pain, unexplained weight loss, loss of bladder or bowel control, numbness in the groin, or weakness that is getting rapidly worse need medical care right away. If anything in your history or exam points outside chiropractic, we will tell you and help you find the right specialist.
